A number of large and commercial restaurants have also recently chosen to base themselves around the Twenty Ninth Street, where there is usually plenty of parking close by, together with shops.

Further restaurants reside along Broadway Street, College Avenue and around Canyon Road, being conveniently close to the university of Colorado and its large student population. Located on Broadway, Dot's Diner is the perfect place to start you day in Boulder, with early bird specials, hearty omelets and crispy hash browns. A younger crowd tends to hang out at the University Hill's very own Illegal Pete's on College Avenue / 16th Street, enjoying tasty burritos and similar cheap Mexican fare.
